You may be able to run the wire through a hole in the firewall of your vehicle on the driver’s side.

The diagram below shows a simple wiring diagram for connecting spotlights to work together with your high beams. All you need is some wire and lugs, a 12V Pole relay and two fuse holders with the correct fuses.

Just make sure that you use decent sized wires and a proper fuse holder for the connection of the power between the battery and the relay as well as the spot lights. Please note that if you are fitting spotlights you MUST wire them using relays and live feeds, as one relay will not be able to cope with the. If you are linking the spots to your main beams, then you can splice into the main beam wire to trigger them.

Personally, I have them triggered from my park lights, as there are instances where I want to run the spots without main beams. Disengage your light from its wires.

You should see plastic caps, called wiring caps (also called a wire nut), with two wires running into each cap. One wire will come from the light, the other from the main electrical circuit of your house. Du hittar SPOT hos Widforss. Spot light wiring (How to ) I am going to mount a pair of spot lights to my front bumper.

Hi i would like to wire spot lights in my kitchen. Wiring a Two Way Switch. When Lis off Lwould be on. Two way switches have a COM terminal as well as Land Lterminals.

Has anybody done this on their Supra? Is there a simple wiring diagram available? Any advice appreciated. Note: This is a general wiring diagram for automotive applications. Use as reference only.

Your lamp kit harness my have different wire colors. Locate the low beam or high beam light lead on one headlamp by using a circuit tester.

You have to diferentiate between fog, driving and spot lights. Green and white wire, = Unsure of connection. Black wires = grounds or earths for both spot lamps. It is usually used with smaller LED downlights or with LED ground lights that are constant current.

The most popular constant current ratings are 350ma or 700ma. If you are in the UK, ignore the 2n 3r 4th and 5th answers, which look transatlantic. They use different wiring conventions over there. All I can add to the first answer is that, if your spotlight has a flexible cable with brown and blue inner wires, then the brown is for the live (so connect it to the red in your house cabling) and the blue is for neutral (so connect it to the black).

Find the correct colour wire at the large connector that plugs into the headlight cluster itself, not a connector just somewhere in a wiring harness. On the RHS you will need to remove the headlight cluster to get to the connector, whereas the LHS connector can be unplugged from the headlight cluster insitu.

Measure the distance from the center of the lamp to the ground and mark off the same height on the wall. For Fog Lamps, adjust them so the top of the light beam is inches (102mm) below the center line mark on the wall.

For Driving Lamps, adjust them so the bright spot of the beam pattern is on the centerline mark on the wall. Motion sensors are great in areas where a light switch is not practical. Please not fuse ratings are different dependant on amount of lights used.

This is for the two spot lights on either the roof or front bumper, all working off the mainbeam lights And here is the wiring for the spotlights across the roof bar.
